Two Brothers Racing believes in test results, not theories, rumors or myths. With this belief we custom build each of our performance exhaust systems to the highest standards. There are no cookie-cutters. There are no standard processes. Everything is tried and true to perform specifically for each unique make and model of machine. Stepped Headers, Crossover Tubes, Cone Shapes, D-Shapes, Hydroforming and etc. are all buzz words often heard in the exhaust world. If they’re not tested and proven, buzz words are simply noise.

That’s why we test with intensity. When a configuration works and meets our performance, durability and quality criteria, we use it. When it doesn’t, we test until we find something that does. We constantly analyze every conceivable combination of exhaust manufacturing techniques and material technologies to ensure our customers are getting the Absolute Top Level in performance exhaust. Below are the highlights a TBR system features.


Full System Details

Configuration: 4-2-1 or 2-1 collection systems are designed for maximum horsepower and torque increases and the efficient delivery of those gains throughout the RPM range.
 
Merge Collectors: The key to an efficient system is in the merge collectors. At TBR, our collectors are hand made, 100% TIG welded and optimized for high flow and velocity. A variety of collector lengths, diameters and shapes are used based on applications and performance goals for particular models.
Crossover Tubes:
Just like all exhaust system components and configurations, the integration of crossover tubes is implemented into TBR exhaust systems only when a performance increase is found through comprehensive track and dyno testing. In many cases, crossover tubes hinder engine performance. You will only see a crossover tube on a TBR exhaust if performance is enhanced.
 
Mandrel Bent Tube: All Two Brothers Racing systems are created from .035 304 Stainless Steel tube precision bent via our CNC Mandrel Bender with exacting bend tolerances of 0.1 degree. All headers are mirror polished for a custom finished look.
Stepped Headers:
TBR header tube diameters change on demand. And at TBR we only demand the use of transitions from smaller to larger header and connection tubes when it meets our performance criteria checklist. The change can’t increase power in one area of the powerband and sacrifice it in another. Steps in header pipes are carefully placed and thoroughly tested in most TBR 4-2-1 systems but only when performance is enhanced across the board.
 
CNC Machined
Flange Collars:
CNC Machined Flange Collars are computer cut from solid chunks of Billet Stainless Steel to provide a precise, leak free fit.
 
CNC Machined Aluminum Flanges: CNC Machined from Billet 6061-T6 Aluminum and hard anodized for durability and style. Our Flanges are designed extra thick to eliminate warping and bending under extreme temperature conditions.
 
Spring Fit Joints: Slip connections are secured with Stainless Steel swivel-hook springs to provide vibration damping, reduce header fatigue and eliminate cracks.
