Offroad engines are exposed to the same risks as
racing engines but for a longer period of time. In this application,
a permanent, high performance air filtration system must be durable
enough to last the lifetime of the vehicle as it travels through any
and all riding conditions. A second and equally important attribute
of a K&N filter is its ability to be cleaned. Simply wash, dry and
re-oil the element at regularly scheduled intervals as illustrated
in the cleaning instructions included with your K&N Filtercharger
Kit and it will continue providing your engine with clean air for
the lifetime of your motorcycle. A K&N Air Filter can be washed and
cleaned up to 25 times. K&N recommends inspecting the filter every
30,000 miles or 12 months.
