Los Angeles - June15th 2005

ESPN X Games athletes and celebrities officially kicked off ticket sales on June 15th for X Games 11, held in and around Los Angles, August 4-7. Moto X stars competed in a mini-fun race with special guests from the 10th Street Elementary School, located in downtown Los Angles. In addition to the race there was also a Moto X Freestyle demonstration with Kenny Bartram, Ronnie Renner and Miles Richmond.

The riders competing in the mini Moto X demonstration were Troy Lee Designs riders Jeff Ward, Chris Filmore and Two Brothers Racing Steve Drew. Each rider would represent a different team comprised of celebrities, athletes, Moto X racers and students. The first racer across the line will receive the first ticket to X Games 11 and the students on the winning team would receive tickets for the X Games. In addition to the tickets the 10th Street Elementary would also receive a check for $1000.00 in the winning teams name.

And when they waved the checkered flag, it was Two Brother Racing’s Steve Drew who took the win. Steve received the first ticket to X Games 11 and with the help of Chris Stiepock X Games general manager, handed out tickets to all the students on team Drew. Make sure to check out the X Games 11 on August 7th live on ABC and watch Steve Drew go for the Gold in Moto X Supermoto.
